How to delete your data
Your removal request was received. The access tokens for your account were deleted the moment the platform notified us, so Postmately can no longer reach it. Confirmation code: . Keep it in case you need to refer to this request.
Choose the scope you want removed. Disconnecting a channel is self-serve; deletion of early-access campaign or service records can also be requested by email.
1. Disconnect one social account
In Postmately open Settings → Channels, pick the channel, and choose Disconnect. The access and refresh tokens for that account are deleted immediately and we can no longer reach it. Choose Remove instead and the channel, its posting schedule and its unpublished posts are deleted too.
You can also revoke access from the platform’s side, which has the same effect on the tokens:
- Facebook, Instagram, Threads — Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, then remove Postmately.
- Google and YouTube — myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- TikTok — Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions.
- LinkedIn — Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services.
- Pinterest — Settings → Security → Apps connected to your account.
- Bluesky — revoke the app password in Settings → App passwords.
- Mastodon — Preferences → Account → Authorized apps.
2. Delete your Postmately account
Open Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. This erases your profile, organisation, every connected channel, all tokens, unpublished posts, Content Studio source media and renders, campaign records and analytics, subject to the exceptions below. It is irreversible.
3. Ask us to delete it
If you cannot log in, email hello@postmately.com from the address on the account with the subject Delete my data. We verify the request, delete everything, and confirm by email — normally within a few days, and no later than 30 days.
Use the same request if you want us to remove Content Studio assets or personal data contained in Managed Distribution operation records before self-serve controls are available.
What deletion does not cover. Posts already published to a social platform live on that platform, not with us. Deleting your Postmately data does not remove them — delete those posts on the platform itself.
We may keep billing records without content data for as long as tax law requires, security logs for 30 days, and the minimum operation or dispute record needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Where possible, retained records are minimised or de-identified.
