# Postmately

> Postmately is a social media studio for AI agents and their owners. One MCP connection lets Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another MCP agent work from the month plan, make carousels and videos, publish to the owner's own accounts, and read the numbers. It can also start from one website link. Dashboard and autopilot posts wait for the owner's approval; an agent publishes when the owner tells it to.

## What it does

- Reads a website or a single page and builds a month-long content plan: topics, formats and a posting schedule.
- Writes and renders carousels as 1080×1920 slides in the brand's colours, with captions the owner can edit line by line.
- Publishes through the platforms' official APIs into accounts the owner controls.
- Autopilot drafts are sent to Telegram or email a day before their date; an agent publishes only when the owner tells it to.
- Keeps one calendar for every channel, with per-channel posting times and time zones.
- Shows views and comments next to each post.

## MCP and AI agents

- MCP endpoint: `https://api.postmately.com/mcp` (streamable HTTP). Auth: `Authorization: Bearer pm_...`, created under Settings > API. The same key sees only the channels of its workspace.
- Works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and any MCP client that can send a bearer header. ChatGPT and Claude.ai connectors need OAuth and are not live yet.
- Tools: `list_channels`, `validate_post`, `import_media`, `list_media`, `create_post`, `update_post`, `reschedule_post`, `list_posts`, `get_post`, `get_post_metrics`, `get_channel_insights`, `delete_post`, `get_analytics_overview`, `get_credits`, `make_carousel`, `get_carousel`, `make_video`, `make_video_from_my_videos`, `start_phone_shoot`, `get_shoot`, `get_video`, `list_plan_items`, `list_video_templates`, `list_image_packs`.
- An agent can create a carousel from a website or topic (20 credits), make a branded video from a topic or template (60 credits), import the owner's own footage from a public link and cut it, check the credit balance first, and publish or schedule with the same channel rules as the dashboard; dashboard and autopilot posts wait for approval, an agent publishes when instructed.
- If the agent already has finished images or video, `import_media` + `create_post` publishes them without generation credits. Importing and publishing do not spend credits; the plan's media storage quota still applies.

- Fully done for you: $359/month. 60 posts a month, 4 channels, every post checked by a person.
- Managed: $790/month. 120 posts a month, all channels, a manager.

## Platforms

- Live for the owner's own accounts: TikTok, YouTube, Telegram channels, VK (page and communities: posts, videos, Clips), Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon.
- Pending platform review: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Threads.
- The dashboard shows the real status per platform, not a promise.

## Limits and principles

- Postmately does not generate images: photos come from the owner's library or a licensed stock pack.
- Publishing goes through official APIs, never through shared logins or automation that pretends to be a person.
- Paid partnerships are labelled as paid.
- The owner holds the accounts and can disconnect any channel at any time.
